Violet's first trip to the dentist

 Well, at least there were toys.

Violet did not enjoy the rest of the experience very much.

The bigger girls did well...

 ...especially once they got to watch Frozen on televisions in the ceiling.  Awesome!

Hike to Mission Peak

 Our longest hike to date...9.5 miles round trip, and pretty much straight up.

 The view was worth it, though!

 Much needed refueling at the top.

Sunol Regional Wilderness

Well, we did not actually make it to the trail as the trail itself started over a mile down this road.  And it was rather hot.  And there was a LOT of complaining.

Not from this one, though.

 Louie showed off his new hiking booties.  No more huge vet bills for us!  Probably.

 Happier!  Almost back to the car.  Wait until they see the hike tomorrow.  : )

Famly fun walk

 At least there was ice cream afterward...

 Because let's put it this way...

 ...the family "fun" walk necessitated umbrellas to avoid the scorching heat.

 Looks like the girls sure are making friends, though!

Poor Louie!

 Poor Louie.  We weren't familiar with foxtails, this horrendous barbed weed that burrows its way into dogs.  Unfortunately for Lou, that meant sedation and digging them out of his chest and paws.  He earned his extra snuggles with Stephie today.
