Visiting Amador School

 We went on an official tour of Amador School today.  It is brand new!  A few differences with CA schools: the grass is turf (eco-friendly as it doesn't need to be watered).  The classroom doors open to outside.

There are smart boards in every classrooms.  The chairs in 2nd grade flex to encourage core abdominal strength (I want one!)

 Kindergarten has them too.

 And there are outdoor (shaded!) picnic areas.  Can't wait for school to start next week!
