Our last day of summer vacation, poorly documented in photos

 We went for a hike (not pictured) and had some friends over for brunch (not pictured).  Ed and Stephie made a sweet potato and tempeh hash for dinner (not pictured), and the girls watched Shrek (also not pictured).  So...picture fail, but a winner of a day.  There was ice cream, pictured!  And also haircuts (not pictured).

Pictured, but barely, the beautiful light at sunset, as Karl the fog rolled in.  Who knew the fog had a name???
